As young children, triplets Gabby, Annie, and Mark Duncan make Christmas wishes by tossing coins into a wishing well in North Pole, Alaska. They each wish for their heart’s desire to come true in the future, since their military father has been relocated once again, forcing them to leave their current home and friends behind.

Annie Duncan is a renowned artist, who has given up hope that she’ll ever find her true love. Despair has doused her creativity. After her thirty-first birthday celebration, a mysterious envelope arrives on her doorstep, and she finds tickets to Ireland inside, along with a cottage reservation in County Clare. All of the Irish landscapes and Christmas traditions inspire her to create, but she needs a guide to explore the wonders and traditions.
