Her Heaven Sent Soulmate

Carol Colyer

Alyssa Scott is getting tired of her small town, so she decides to take a huge leap of faith and move East. Her plans are abruptly changed, though, as halfway there, she loses everything during a scary robbery. Left with nothing but a tiny speck of hope, Alyssa steps off the train to another small town. Luckily for her, she’s soon invited to become the cook for a rancher who desperately needs a helping hand. To her surprise, she discovers a well-hidden softer side of him that makes her heart flutter. Will she be willing to hold herself back in this small town and abandon her lifetime dream, or will she come to realize that home is where the heart is?

Bryce is having a hard time learning how to fill his father’s shoes since his untimely passing. He never wanted to own a ranch, yet he’s trying to do the right thing for his family. Although looking for a cook is the least of his concerns, a new girl in town catches his attention and quite instinctively, he decides to hire her. Before he knows it, he finds himself smiling again every time she is around. With time, he feels more and more connected to her, but when Alyssa confesses that she is not eager to stay in town, his last hope for happiness is crushed. Will he find the right words to tell her how he feels and give her a reason to stay?

Both Alyssa and Bryce are struggling to find where they truly belong. Despite the strong spark between them, confronting their emotions and fighting for them may be the greatest challenge they will have to face. Will they dare to be vulnerable, or will they go their separate ways and forever wonder about what could have been?
