Ashtyn Newbold

“I cannot kiss her as I kissed you,” I said, shaking my head.
She sniffed, looking down at the wall. “Why not?”
“Because I don’t love her.”
-Charlie

Henrietta is determined to mend the damage she did to her sister’s love life. That means, she has to get Anna and Miles back together. The perfect opportunity arises in Bath, where they could rent houses side-by-side.

However, the perfect plan falls apart when Lord Guildford rents the neighboring house instead. Henrietta has weeks to evict him and make room for Miles, or all will be lost. Irritatingly, Lord Guildford has his own agenda, and it doesn’t include moving.

Oh my! This is such an enjoyable read. It’s full of wit and banter and humor. But it’s also full of compassion and sacrifice and love. It’s worth every minute.

Ashtyn Newbold is an excellent writer—her pacing is great, her dialogue delightful, and her characters genuine. You’ll love the character arcs in this story, as well as the swoony kisses. Mmmm-mmmm.

And though this is a stand-alone, I’m actually intrigued by the next romance coming up in the series. She’s already got me invested in Leonora and Timothy’s story.
