Amish Christmas Accusations

Orpah Lambright

Sarah Yutzi and her parents, Hannah and David, are enjoying time at home before Christmas. It is a peaceful scene until the police come knocking at the door and arrest David based on an anonymous phone call the police received. David is accused of abusing his family. David says he is innocent, just like his friend William who was arrested and imprisoned years ago for a murder David claims William never committed. Both Sarah and Hannah say that David has done nothing wrong to them. Officer Samuel Greene has no choice but to arrest David. Can Sarah figure out who made the call for her father’s arrest?

Sarah tries to think of who could possibly be involved in her father’s arrest. However, there are far too many suspects, and Sarah begins to lose her faith. Things become even more complicated when Sarah begins to get to know Officer Samuel Greene on a more personal level. Samuel isn’t like Sarah expected. He has a genuine interest in the Amish community, and she quickly feels a connection to him. Will Sarah and Samuel fall in love? Can Samuel be trusted? Is David actually innocent, or is his family too scared to tell the truth about him? Will David make it home for Christmas, or will he spend years in prison like his friend William?
