The music of an angel's harp is leading his soul through the path of love.
 UNBREAKABLE BONDS   Book Six

Mary Dunlop came from a poor family and was raised in a convent school from a young age. Her blind eye of icy blue color and her introverted personality make her feel embarrassed and avoid people… except her music teacher! Mary loves music and is very talented, especially at playing the harp, the most difficult musical instrument of them all. But the most graceful too.

Lucilla Thrope, the Duchess of Satherland, is looking for a lady’s companion and as the great philanthropist that she is, she went to the convent school she is sponsoring to choose one of the educated poor girls to hire. The Duchess couldn’t choose any other girl but the one who played the harp -her beloved harp- in such grace. Playing such a difficult instrument shows how disciplined and skilled that girl is.

However, Mary will not be easily welcomed to the house, not only by the staff but most of all by Nicholas Thrope, the Duchess’ nephew, a cynical lord with quite a reputation. His aunt wants to find a bride for him and convince him to settle and start a family. He is going to be the Duke after all and the reason he is there with her -and not at his parent’s estate- is to avoid a scandal.

Mary’s music will be the spell that will tame him. Her kind actions will show him that love is not just a word. Her kindness and patience will help Nicholas to find his true self, release his emotions and realize what kind of life he needs. But it will take strength to choose a servant instead of a noble lady, as his family expects from him.
