His Brother’s Bride

Bella Brown
Kitty Travis survived the terrible fire that her parents perished in and suddenly, she was all alone in the world.

Befriended by Rosa, an orphan who lives in the slums of New York, Kitty longs for a different life. Then she finds it, after replying to an advert in the Matrimonial Times, in the form of rancher, Harlan Burgess. It would mean moving once more from everything she knew, to begin a new life in Texas.

But things aren’t quite as they seem when she arrives. She’s disappointed by Harlan and his actions, and his brother Jesse urges her to give his gruff brother a chance. But she can’t help thinking that she has made a mistake. Then a tragic event means that Kitty is needed by everyone at the ranch as lives hang in the balance.

Kitty must face all that she fears as she battles to save those that she has come to care for. She must decide if staying in the West is really for her when her love is unrequited, or head back to New York, and try to forget all about being a bride.
