Falling in love is now out of the question for Lee, but in a moment of weakness, he writes to a mail-order bride agency and before he knows it, Rachel is on her way. She is hard-working, caring, and kind, and he finally dares to dream of a happy future with her. How can he surpass his deep wounds and accept that being with Rachel might be his only chance for love, while his past is coming for revenge?

What started as a simple business partnership for Rachel and Lee, soon becomes a mutual attraction, challenging their limits and plans. When secrets from the past surface and they are forced to deal with them, will they be able to trust each other and accept their feelings? Or will they let second thoughts and mistrust come between them and tear them apart?

    Carol Colyer was born in Montana where she spent the first 6 years of her life until she moved to Arizona, where she currently lives.

    She has studied Geology in South Africa but she never followed that field as she is passionate about writing.

    She married at the age of 19 while she was carrying her first son. Now she is divorced and she lives with her second husband who has 2 little kids named after Sarah and Bari. She loves her grandchildren and as she says she gets her inspiration from Bari who wants to become a cowboy when he grows up!

    In her spare time, she loves taking after her 2 horses as well as volunteering at church.
